About Me

Hi, I’m Karen — an Advanced EFT Practitioner and Reiki practitioner based on the west coast of Norway, where I live with my two kids.

Before this chapter, I owned and ran a big waxing salon with a full team of staff. I spent years building that business and working closely with women every single day. While I enjoyed giving the treatments, what always mattered most to me were the conversations.

Women would lie on my treatment bed and slowly begin to share what they were carrying — stress, relationship strain, exhaustion, anxiety. Over time, I saw a pattern. So many capable, intelligent women were living in a constant state of pressure, and it had quietly become their normal.

If I’m honest, I was doing the same.

When Covid led to the bankruptcy of my salon, everything I had been holding together internally caught up with me. I could no longer push through. What I now understand as long-term stress had taken its toll, and I found myself feeling disconnected and stuck. I felt I had lost who I was.

Finding EFT tapping changed that.

It gave me a practical way to work through the beliefs and emotional patterns I hadn’t realised were shaping how I showed up in my life. Slowly, things shifted. I felt steadier. Clearer. More able to respond instead of just reacting.

Reiki followed later. I had experienced how powerful it is when the body is given genuine space to settle, and I knew I wanted to offer that kind of restorative support to other women too.

Today, my work combines both approaches.

And yes — I still run a solo waxing business.

I value that work deeply. Many of the women I support through EFT and Reiki first lay on my treatment bed for waxing. The trust built there matters. The professionalism matters. The steady, calm presence matters.
For some women, support begins with a conversation during a brazilian wax.
For others, it begins in a dedicated EFT or Reiki session.

What ties it all together is the space I hold.

Calm. Clear. Professional. Human.

Women often tell me they feel safe here. That they can talk openly.
That they relax more quickly than they expected.

That means a great deal to me.

If you’re navigating a season that feels heavier than it needs to, you’re very welcome here.
