What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, restorative treatment that supports your body in moving away from stress.
During a session, you lie down fully clothed while I place my hands lightly on or just above different areas of your body. You don’t need to do anything. There’s no talking required unless you want to.
The focus is simple: creating the conditions for your system to soften.
For many women, that’s rarer than it should be.
Why Women Come to Me for Reiki
Often, it’s when they’ve reached a point where they feel:
• Tired but wired
• Mentally busy
• Emotionally stretched
• Disconnected from their body
• On the verge of burnout
They’ve been holding a lot together.
Reiki offers something different from problem-solving or talking things through.
It offers rest.
Not sleep.
Not collapse.
But a steady, supported settling.
What Happens in a Session
We begin with a brief check-in so you feel clear about what to expect.
Then you lie down, fully clothed, in a calm, quiet space.
I work through a series of hand positions designed to support relaxation and balance. Many women notice warmth, heaviness, or a gentle sense of release. Others simply feel very still.
There is no right way to experience it.
What matters most is that you feel safe and supported.
Women often tell me:
• They relax much more quickly than they expected
• Their thoughts finally slow down
• They feel centered again
• They sleep deeply afterwards
• The calm lingers for days
You don’t need to explain yourself perfectly.
You don’t need to process everything verbally.
You are simply held in a steady, professional space.
How Reiki Supports You
When your nervous system settles, your body shifts out of constant alert.
Muscles soften.
Breathing deepens.
Mental noise reduces.
From that place, clarity returns more naturally.
Reiki doesn’t force change.
It allows your system to reset so change feels less effortful.
Is Reiki Right for You?
Reiki can be particularly supportive if you are:
• Feeling overwhelmed or burnt out
• Navigating a demanding life season
• Processing grief or change
• Struggling to switch off
• In need of deep rest
Some women choose Reiki during intense periods.
Others book regular sessions simply to recalibrate.
Both are welcome.
Reiki is a complementary wellbeing practice and is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment.
